stainless steel, leather

-The Wassily Chair, also known as the Model B3 chair, was designed by Marcel Breuer in 1925-26. This chair was revolutionary in the use of the materials (bent steel tubes and leather) and methods of manufacturing. It is said that the handlebar of Breuer's 'Adler' bicycle inspired him to use steel tubing to build the chair, Marcel Breuer was an apprentice at the Bauhaus in 1925 when he conceived the first tubular steel chair. The Wassily chair is one of Marcel Breuer’s most famous. An earlier version of this chair was designed by Breuer in 1925, and within a year, designers everywhere were experimenting with tubular steel, which would take furniture into a radically new direction. The chair became known as the "Wassily" after the painter Kandinsky, Breuer's friend and fellow Bauhaus instructor, who praised the design when it was first produced.
-Our inspired Wassily chair lends its self well to an environment that is simple and streamline. Frame is polished tubular stainless steel .With thick cowhide leather slings.Pony leather available.
